Remember How Well The NCGA Treated Public Schools After The Last Recession

There is no question that we are facing an economic recession and high unemployment rates that are unrivaled in the past few decades.

This is a reminder of how well we treated public schools in the recovery from the last Great Recession of 2008.

North Carolina is one of seven states with the deepest cuts to K-12 while also cutting corporate tax rates

And we still have no budget for 2020 due to the actions of many of the same people who were office when we were “recovering” from the last downturn.

  1. This is a reminder of how well the NC GOP (Senator Berger King, Speakers Thommie Boy Tillis and Moore is Less) treated public schools in the recovery from the last Great Recession of 2008. FIFY

    That fact should chill you to your bones headed into 2020-21. Anyone who taught before 2008 knows the differences the past decade have brought. #VoteBlue2020.
