The following two posts on my social media feeds referenced the same 60 Minutes report on Moms For Liberty this past weekend.
Josh Cowen is a professor at Michigan Sate University and is one of the leading scholars on research concerning school voucher programs. Derek Black is at the University of South Carolina. His latest book, Schoolhouse Burning, is one of the best books concerning public education I have read in the past decade.
The report on 60 Minutes takes to task the founders of Moms For Liberty and their inability to answer direct questions. It also highlights the banning of over 90 books in schools in Beaufort, SC based on a campaign of fear and not substance.
