Mark Robinson & That “Weak Little Gymnast”

Simone Biles just became the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history.

Biles has been open about her struggles with mental health, and her journey has inspired so many people to seek help in their own lives. And the fact that she is still the world’s best gymnast at 27 speaks for her dedication to her craft.

To hear Mark Robinson disparage her in a speech as “weak” and someone who is not to be admired is repulsive. This man whose biggest accomplishments as NC Lt. Governor amount to a baseless witch hunt of teachers over false allegations of indoctrination and influencing the state board of education to drop science and social studies standards all while “preaching” there is not such thing as “systemic racism” keeps proving that deliberate ignorance is still a contagious social condition.

He should never be someone who submits or signs off on budgets for the public school system in North Carolina.

  1. This makes me angry to my core. He is such a disgrace to this state, this country, and everything good. Of course trump loves him. They are equally repulsive.
