Laura Leslie’s report for WRAL today uncovered a video of Mark Robinson saying that he would as governor deny federal education funds.

In answering a question about federal funding, Robinson said,

“That’s why we need to cut their money off. That’s why it’s important for us to be fiscally responsible with our education dollars, cut the waste and cut the bureaucracy so that we can do what we need to do without their help.”

Fiscally responsible? From the same guy who helped his wife run a non-profit that took federal funds itself and…

Even more interesting is that the money that comes from the federal government in education funding helps to offer nutritional aid.

The same damn thing that Robinson’s wife’s non-profit is guilty of bilking.
