It’s a real question.
Not rhetorical.
In all of the (stock) photos on her campaign materials that might show a hint of the inside of a school building, there is no Michele Morrow.
There are no anecdotes that have ever been communicated by Morrow that talk about meeting with any of her own children’s teachers, coaches, or other educators in NC public school.
Of all the titles that she claims to hold in this campaign poster, has she ever fulfilled any of those roles within the context of a North Carolina public school?

She has never sent her children to public school while living in North Carolina. No serving with a school’s PTSA in NC. No involvement in an extracurricular activity sponsored by a NC public school that one of her children may be involved with.
Actually, she has not been a nurse in a professional setting for years and certainly was not in hospitals during the pandemic.
And she has never been an actual classroom teacher in schools or served in any capacity within the public school system here in North Carolina.
As a public school teacher, a public school parent, a public university parent, a taxpayer, and a voter, I want the top official for the state’s public schools to be someone who is not only familiar with our public schools, but is has been in active service of our public schools.
