And that argument about vouchers being for lower-income families was just thrown aside.

Governor Cooper vetoes the bill that expands vouchers because it expands vouchers.
The NCGA House convenes this week to override that veto even after so many of our public schools in the western part of the state were damaged by Hurricane Helene and many of our public school families were displaced.
