What The Texas State Board Of Education Just Did (And NC Just Missed?)

To think that if Mark Robinson, Hal Weatherman, and Michele Morrow had been elected, North Carolina would have had a lot different bent to its upcoming State Board of Education.

Robinson’s absolute denial of systemic racism and outspoken criticism of social studies standards, Morrow’s theocratic streak, and Weatherman’s willingness to do whatever his party tells him, North Carolina could have had an assault on curriculum it has not seen before.

The Texas State Board of Education has always been a beacon of ultra-conservative politics.
