…the Winston-Salem / Forsyth County School Board and its dramatic sequel to last month’s meeting in which a new chairperson and vice-chairperson are not elected because of partisan politics and the continued shame & blame surrounding the current economic debacle.
Starts literally at the beginning – specifically at three minutes right after the moment of silence.
The thirteen minutes that encompass the vote for a new chair and vice-chair may have been one of the worst displays of ineffectiveness from an elected body seen at this local level. Why? Because there are so many pressing problems facing this school district to not be united.
WSFCS will lose teachers because of what happened tonight. There will be many professionals who refuse to work in this district if something does not change for the better.
