Here is the salary schedule that is in place for the 2025-2026 school year. And before you say, “Hey! That’s the salary schedule for 2024-2025, not 2025-2026.”
Actually it is because the budget for this school year is frozen with last year’s numbers. That’s what happens when you are the only state in the country that does not pass a new state budget.
For those who are not teachers, make sure to pay attention to years 15-24.
Frozen. Like that precipitation outside of many NC homes right now.
10 years of the same.
There is no longevity pay during these years as well.
Someone who has been teaching for 24 years makes the same as someone who has been teaching for 15.
Amounts toward retirement will be the same.
Not much of a raise in the last couple of years with rapid inflation.

Its great topost things like this but what do we as teachers do about i. If we protest we can get terminated. It just seems to me that we should just protest in slience. We should meet in private and not infrom people about what we are going to do. There has to be other ways.
