Funny that just a few days after Sen. Phil Berger posted this as electioneering propaganda

that this report is released on WFMYnews2.com:

It makes reference to a report from smartestdollar.com about teacher pay gaps in comparison to other occupations with comparable education requirements.
The report lists large, small, and mid-size metropolitan areas that have the largest such gaps.

The Charlotte area ranked #6 for larger metro areas.

Raleigh was #2.

And 3 of the 15 top small metro areas are from NC. Winston-Salem made the midsize list.

Actually, it isn’t a funny as it might seem.
Wake and Charlotte actually have the highest local supplements in the state.
And still that big a gap.
If you looked at the raises they’ve gotten at DHHS,you would be shocked. They continue to receive longevity as well. This needs to be fixed.
