Certainly not too surprising given the way this state has treated its social services and its employees.

It’s not a mystery.
Look at the intentional ignorance of the LEANDRO decision when the state is sitting on billions in reserves.
Look at the religious fervor to keep lowering corporate tax rates in NC to make it almost impossible to fully fund what is obliged to be financed by the state.


Already the state has taken away retiree health benefits for those hired in 2021 or later.
And don’t let it be lost that Folwell financed a lot of his recent failed campaign for governor with his own money. But it is not hard to agree with the fact that the NC General Assembly could make this easily rememdied.
But they won’t. They’re not even in session.
Damnit, vote them out.

What’s the insinuation here?
