Farmers in Western NC who were devastated by Hurricane Helene received rather small reimbursement checks for their lost crops as part of the hurricane relief measures from the General Assembly.

That’s the same General Assembly that gives non-emergency “reimbursement” checks for vouchers to anyone in the state who wants to send thier student to a nonregulated private school.
