According to TeachNC on September 20, there were 21924 total jobs needing to be filled.

This morning just two days later, that number has risen.

In two days, another 212 job vacancies were reported.

  1. I retired when the lockdown hit after 45 years in teaching. I would not go back for any reason because of the pay and disregard for my safety and my student’s health.
